Instructor Assistant - Kent Center
Instructor Assistant positions available to work with adults with disabilities in a retirement setting. Lifting is required. Part time positions available 25 hours per week and 29.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday at a pay rate of $16.57/hr.
Duties include:
Performing personal care tasks including but not limited to assistance with personal hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and friends in the center. Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment. Assisting with toileting, administration of medications (after completion of certification), documentation of services provided, and light cleaning.
A high school diploma or GED is required; a valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required; and an interest in working with people with disabilities is preferred.
